The BC World Music Collective brings together musicians from Cuba, Mexico, Brazil, Africa, and London, who now make their home in the beautiful province of BC. The collective is comprised of Adonis Puentes, Celso Machado, Tonye Aganaba, Kurai Blessing, JP Carter, Locarno (Tom Landa, Pedro Mota, Robin Layne, Liam MacDonald, Nick La Riviere, Kalissa Landa, JeanSe LeDoujet) and First Nations (Stō:lo/St’át’imc/Nlaka’pamux Territories) rapper, Ostwelve.

The brother and sister duo is formed by 20-year-old cellist Bryan Cheng, recipient of the 2017 Canada Council for the Arts, Michael Measures Prize, and pianist Silvie Cheng, recipient of the Roy M. Rubinstein Award for exceptional promise in piano performance.

The Montréal Guitare Trio has won acclaim for its nylon-string guitar arrangements of jazz, classical and world music. When these two trios team up, the six musicians representing four countries (Japan, Canada, Belgium and the United States) create a musical romp through genres with the musicians’ virtuosity matched by their joy in playing music together.

Since their inaugural performance in 2012, DDD has been presented by major arts organizations, including The Ontario Philharmonic, Barrie Concerts, The Royal Ontario Museum, The Chopin Society of Canada and the Calgary Stampede. A clarinet / accordion duo may be unusual, but, wow, they are amazing!

Drawing from a wide array of music and a variety of genres, features performers Ken Lavigne, Tiller's Folly and Diyet, combine stories, music and projections, to provide the audience a stylistic overview of Canada's greatest hits!Featureing the music by Leonard Cohen, Stan Rogers, Joni Mitchell, Neil Young, Buffy St. Marie, Anne Murray & Stomp'in Tom Connors in addition to contemporary artists including Sara McLachlan, Bare Naked Ladies, Blue Rodeo and original songs by the Great Canadian SongBook performers.
